How updates work. New installs always get the latest version. If you already use the app, we show “Update available” when you’re between study sessions (never in the middle of a drill or mock), and you choose Update now or Not now. If you choose Not now, you keep studying on your current version and question bank. Updates never remove your progress, scores or license key.
Optional = your choice. Required = rare; used only for security or license-check fixes, and still never interrupts a drill or mock you are in.
October 26, 2026 · Clearer wording on how questions are checked Optional
- What changed: The About page now says our original questions are written from CompTIA’s publicly published exam objectives, with human spot-checks. Before, it said every question was “reviewed by a human”.
- Why: We want every claim in the app to be exactly true. Spot-checks describes how questions are checked more accurately.
- Your license: Nothing else changed. Questions, progress, scores, keys and device slots are not affected. Update whenever you like.

- What changed: The app no longer switches itself to a new version in the background. When an update or a new question bank is available, you see a small “Update available” note with What’s new, Update now and Not now. It waits until you are not in a drill or mock.
- What changed: This “What’s new” page, linked from Home, About and the footer. The support email is now in the footer, and the Premium page shows who sells it (Mikell Studios), the support email, and “No auto-renew · 7-day refund” next to each price. About now says plainly how questions are written.
- Fixed: In the installed app, the Terms link (and this page) could fail to open. They now open normally, online or offline.
- Why: So nobody’s study session changes under them, and you always know what changed and why.
- Your license: Keys, device slots and Premium questions are not affected. Premium questions are only refreshed after the license server confirms your key.

- What changed: The license server now limits how many unlock and re-check requests one connection can make per minute.
- Why: Makes it harder to guess or abuse license keys. Normal use never gets near the limit.
- Your license: Keys, device slots and question banks unchanged. Nothing to install.
October 26, 2026 · Security+ and Network+ in one app Baseline
- What changed: CompTIA Security+ (SY0-801 / SY0-701) and CompTIA Network+ (N10-009) are both in the app; pick your exam under “Switch program”. Terms of Use are at Terms.
- Why: One app for both exams, each with its own questions, progress and license.
- Your license: Premium keys and device slots unchanged. A key for one program does not unlock the other.
